Programme description
This course is designed to educate you on the contents of the 18th Edition (2022) (BS7671:2018+A2:2022) standards and ensure you're up-to-date on the latest changes to electrical safety and code compliance.
Who is this programme for?
This course is suitable for anyone in the electrical and building services industries. This includes gas installers, kitchen and bathroom fitters, plumbers and builders who complete domestic electrical work as part of their job, such as wiring boilers or showers.
We offer 3-day and assessment-only single-day options for this course so that you can undertake your training at a pace suitable for your circumstances.

Pre-requisites
There are no official prerequisites for this course, but ideal candidates should have some understanding of the basics of electrical theory, and ideally some industry experience.
Applicants must be 16 or over.
Course structure and Assesment method
We have both full-time and part-time options for this course:
3-Day Course
Candidates are expected to attend our Kirkintilloch Centre for theory and practical learning from 3 days from 9 am to 3 pm.
1-Day Assessment Only (This Course)
This option is best suited to industry professionals who are already familiar with BS7671:2018+A2:2022 and looking to sit the assessment and become certified with minimal coaching.
