Qualification Details Inspection and Testing for Electricians
Programme description
This course will see candidates attain an LCL Awards Level 3 in the Initial Verification, Periodic Inspection Testing, Condition Reporting and Certification of Electrical Installations over an intensive 5-day course and assessment.
This regulated qualification is for learners who wish to demonstrate their knowledge in all aspects of testing electrical installation systems in the UK. It combines the Initial Verification and the Periodic Inspection and condition reporting of electrical installation and is based primarily on BS7671 18th Edition and the IET Guidance Note 3.
Who is this programme for?
This course is designed for learners and those with some industry experience looking to formalise their training and gain their Level 3 Award in Initial Verification, Periodic Inspection Testing, Condition Reporting and Certification of Electrical Installations.

Pre-requisites
This course requires prior learning or previous industry experience and is specifically crafted for existing professionals looking to formalise their learning and build a solid foundation to continue their professional development.
Applicants must be 16 or over.
Course structure and Assesment method
We have a full-time option for this course:
Candidates are expected to attend our Kirkintilloch Centre for theory and practical learning for 5 days, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
