Programme description
This course will see candidates attain an LCL Awards Level 3 in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial Locations over an intensive 2-day workshop and assessment.
Due to the UK Government's commitment to climate change targets, EVs are becoming increasingly popular, meaning there's an ever-expanding market for EV Charging equipment and its installation. This course will give you the expertise to offer services in this sector and capitalise on an increasing market requirement for EV charger installations.

This course suits anyone already working in the electrical industry looking to upskill and add EV chargers to their qualification list.
Your Initial Verification and 18th Edition are required prerequisites for this course.

Pre-requisites
This course requires prior learning and industry experience and is specifically crafted for those actively working as electricians looking to upskill.
Applicants must be 16 or over and have completed their Initial Verification and 18th Edition qualifications.

We have a full-time option for this course:
Candidates are expected to attend our Kirkintilloch Centre for theory and practical learning for 2 days, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
