Qualification Details Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems
Programme description
The qualification has been designed in conjunction with the latest IET Code of Practice and is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). You will be studying to achieve an LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems.
We often run this course in tandem with our Solar Photovoltaics course as a 5-day combined course to give you the best possible qualifications to work on Solar PV systems in one concise package.
Who is this programme for?
This course is designed for anyone who's already a qualified electrician looking to upskill and add Battery Storage to their list of services.
Qualifications awarded
Learners will gain the following industry-recognised qualification:
- LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems
Pre-requisites
Applicants should have experience installing electrical installations within domestic and/or non-domestic premises and hold:
- Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
and
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 (current edition)
